Marquisha Powell AIA, LEED AP is an accomplished architect with a passion for adaptive reuse and sustainable design. With nearly two decades of experience, she specializes in transforming existing structures to maximize their potential while preserving green sites and reducing embodied energy. Her expertise lies in balancing historical preservation with modern innovation, creating spaces that are both functional and environmentally responsible.

Currently an Associate at Studio MB, Marquisha plays a key role in shaping impactful designs across Washington, D.C. Prior to this, she spent over 10 years at Page Southerland Page, Inc., where she refined her skills in project architecture and comprehensive design processes. She is deeply committed to exceeding industry standards in building technology, ensuring that her projects not only meet but surpass sustainability benchmarks.

A Registered Architect in Texas, Marquisha holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Houston. Her keen eye for detail and instinctive creativity allow her to approach architecture with a thoughtful and process-driven mindset, emphasizing reuse, efficiency, and environmental stewardship.

Beyond her professional work, Marquisha is a dedicated advocate for mentorship and professional development. She actively supports initiatives that encourage diversity and inclusivity in architecture, striving to create a more equitable and accessible profession.
