Zhetique Gunn

Zhetique Gunn, LEED GA, RELi AP, NOMA is an Urban Designer at the DC Office of Planning, where she brings a strong commitment to equity and inclusion in the built environment. Her work focuses on the intersection of psychology, design, and social justice, creating spaces that foster community empowerment and resilience.

Previously, Zhetique held roles at Moody Nolan and Perkins&Will, contributing to impactful urban and architectural projects. She also co-founded a Professional Development Program (PDP) for architecture students at historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs), aiming to connect diverse talent with AEC firms and create lasting institutional change.

As the newly appointed Parliamentarian for the DC Chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects (DC NOMA), Zhetique ensures procedural integrity while advancing the chapter’s mission of fostering equity and collaboration.

Zhetique’s academic background includes a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Prairie View A&M University, where she held leadership roles in NOMAS and other organizations. Her work reflects intentionality, persistence, and a commitment to building an inclusive future for the profession.
