Continuing Education Course: “The Coming of Age of Biophilic Design and Healing Environments.”

The Board of Architecture, Interior Design and Landscape Architecture is sponsoring three continuing education courses on September 20 at Gallaudet University for a total of 6 continuing education hours. The theme of the program being presented is “The Coming of Age of Biophilic Design and Healing Environments.”

The licensees have been sent registration information via e-mail, but just in case, the licensees can go to this website to register for the classes. Their goal is to have all DC licensed architects with NOMA to participate.

This is only for DC licensees licensed as architects and interior designers. There is no cost for the licensees. They are in the process of notifying several organizations, of these offerings. Any assistance is appreciated in promoting the seminars for DC licensed architects. The information is located on their web site at

  • Print your course registration ticket(s); one is needed for each session. Registration is required to attend these courses.

  • Bring your photo ID and active DC Architecture or Interior Design license. 

  • Print the free parking permit – it must be displayed in your vehicle- while in the parking garage. The Union Market parking lot on 6th St., NE serves as an overflow lot for parking.

  • Be prompt as courses will start on time. Course credit will not be given for late arrivals.

  • Coffee will be available for purchase in the morning. Boxed lunches will be available for sale during the lunch hour.
