DCNOMA March Chapter Meeting (3/12)

I know many of you are wondering what the DCNOMA Board has been working on over the last few weeks. The short answer is everything! We are reestablishing committees, building the website, connecting with our NOMAS Chapters, gaining access to all social media accounts, tracking down Chapter Dues still held by National, crafting ByLaw Amendments, establishing for a new mailing address, setting up summer events, scheduling upcoming Chapter Meetings, writing a budget, pulling together the materials for a 501(c)6 application, and so much more! At times, the list seems daunting, but we are encouraged and motivated by your energy and enthusiasm to get strengthen DCNOMA! In the next few weeks, we will send out a "State of the Chapter," so everyone is included in what is happening, as well as a survey to make sure we are best serving you. 

In the meantime, we need you to get involved! To start, if you have not already done so, please join/renew your NOMA Membership! We currently have 40 registered members, including 12 students. However, this email alone is reaching out to over 250 people! Please take a few minutes to sign up here.

We look forward to seeing you at Gensler for our March Chapter Meeting to get involved! Can't make it? Join us for Happy Hour on Thursday, March 7th at The Caged Bird! Our next Chapter Meetings will be held on April, 16th and May 7th at 6:30pm. Mark your calendars!
