The 2024 NOMA National Student Competition brief has been released! Submissions for the Barbara G. Laurie Student Design Competition are due October 12th. The 2024 Barbara G. Laurie NOMA Student Design Competition is now accessible via NOMA Connect! Log in with your NOMA member credentials to access the 2024 library of files. This year's resources are packed with historical information and site data to assist with this year's project - a multi-modal transit hub for West Baltimore!
Access the competition brief and associated files through the BGL Library under the NOMAS Community. Filter your file type to '2024_Baltimore' or go to the folder to see all available resources. (Note: The CAD files are coming soon! When the files are uploaded, an announcement will be made via NOMA Connect. Check back next week!).
As always, a virtual townhall with project stakeholders will be held Spring 2024. Please direct all questions regarding submission requirements, community information, and resources to your University Liaison.

Clarification of submission material requirements
A Decorum section regarding in-person behavior at the conference
Revised judging criteria, including a proposed community engagement strategy
Schedule:
May 1, 2024 Deadline to submit 2024 Chapter Report, IRS W-9, and intent to compete at submit.noma.net.
August 30, 2024 Deadline for questions related to the competition rules, program requirements, or schedule.
October 12, 2024 (at 11:59pm Pacific Time) Deadline to upload Round 1 Submission.
October 25-26, 2024 (subject to change) The Student Design Competition will be conducted over two days during the NOMA National conference in Baltimore, Maryland. The final schedule will be announced with the release of the conference schedule. Students should plan to be physically present at the conference for both days.
